Integrative Midlife Profiling to Anticipate Stroke and Silent Cerebrovascular Injury

Mission
Our mission is to improve stroke prevention by identifying people at risk earlier in life, before serious or lasting brain injury occurs. By improving stroke risk prediction, we aim to support earlier, more personalized prevention strategies that help people live longer, healthier lives.
Our Research
Our research focuses on improving stroke prediction during midlife by studying how health, social, and biological factors work together to influence future stroke risk. Using data from large and diverse population studies, we examine traditional risk factors, blood proteins, and brain imaging to identify patterns that may help predict both clinical strokes and silent brain injury more accurately.
